EN- MASTERS - NEWSLETTER 1
MASTERS wants to promote apprenticeship in small and micro enterprises, developing and validating a set of practical and methodological tools to support the professional development of in company tutors operating in SMEs, VET trainers and job counsellors, so as to allow them to implement efficient and high quality apprenticeship programs.
MASTERS is a complex and ambitious project, with six concrete intellectual outputs generated by six partners from four countries. We have scheduled the project for 24 months implementation.
Current scope of activities
The first step in the project is an in-depth analysis of WBL schemes at European level, with a particular focus on apprenticeships programs and on their managerial procedures. Partners are not only conducting desk research, but approaching key stakeholders involved in apprenticeship programmes - VET educators, job counsellors and potential or effective in company tutors. The research finding will bring out the needs and the profiles to be created governing the next project steps, i.e. developing training content.
